Accommodation

The guest accommodation is situated on the UPPER FLOOR of Summerdale with its own entrance. The house is situated in a quiet location, approximately six miles from Kirkwall and 10 miles from Stromness, with plenty of space for parking and magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. Summerdale is ideally situated for easy access to the whole of the Orkney mainland or for ferries to the other islands.

Bedroom 1 - double bed

Bedroom 2 – 1 single bed and 1 small double bed (4ft)

All bed linen and towels are supplied.

Children and infants are welcome and a high chair and cot are available on request, sorry but WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS

We are happy to welcome families, single people, business travellers, young people or senior citizens but WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING

The accommodation is heated by an air to air heating system. Electricity is included in the price and broadband Wi Fi is also available free on request.

Other facilities include television, CD/Radio, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The bathroom has SHOWER ONLY.

The kitchen has fitted units and is complete with cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and all the other accessories to provide you with a well-equipped modern kitchen. We also provide our guests with washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. There will also be a pint of milk in the fridge

The accommodation features a large dining area.

The sitting room is comfortable and bright with beautiful views. The Property is situated off the main road but is ideally placed for quick access to many of the island’s spectacular and historic sites.
